About Our Flowers

We grow our flowers in our large family garden in the beautiful village of Corscombe.  Every single stem has been grown and nurtured by hand.  Our flowers are truly seasonal and naturally grown.  You can buy our flowers here.

We grow with the seasons and alongside nature.  We don't use pesticides as we want to ensure that the diversity and health of our soil, flowers, plants and the wider ecosystem is nurtured as naturally as possible.  To feed our flowers we use homemade comfrey and nettle solutions along with organic liquid seaweed.  We only ever use peat free or homemade compost.  Please see our Sustainability Statement for more information.

We grow many flowers from seed each year, sowing seeds in Autumn and throughout Spring.  We grow an ever increasing range of perennial flowers, and have large collections of bulbs, corms and tubers.  We grow shrubs and foliage to support the flowers in their arrangements.  We cut and condition each and every stem, ensuring that all stems are cut at their very best.

We grow traditional English favourites, such as Larkspur, Snapdragons and Sweet Peas, alongside specialist varieties grown for their excellent cut flower qualities.  Many of our flowers are scented, and we often use herbs such as Applemint and Basil in our orders.
